Chi ripensa con nostalgia a Paul Morrissey e ai suoi Smiths, e chi senza tecno e rave non potrebbe vivere. Se ami la musica dal vivo, l'Inghilterra e' un paradiso, specialmente con l'arrivo di primavera ed estate: e' la stagione dei festival musicali. Di solito occupano un weekend, ed offrono l'occasione per ascoltare buona musica dal vivo, divertirsi e (spesso) campeggiare. Alla stazione di Paddington se ne vedono spesso: dai sedici anni ai sessanta, di solito con zaino, tenda e sacco a pelo sulle spalle, spesso con coloratissimi stivali di gomma, perche' in Inghilterra, anche d'estate, pioggia e fango sono compagni frequenti.
